I Promise if i am not with my daughter Yazmin Crystal during her birthdays , I would create some video to send her wishing her a Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Every person in life has a goal, a dream or even a promise. I made this promise to myself for my daughter as a way to say “I ‘ll always be with you , when i’m far away from you. Leaving your kid behind because you have to go work on a Cruise Ship is not a nice feeling.
Are You Selfish ?
The decisions we make in life affect us and everyone around us. Some people are selfish and do what they think is best for themselves and some do what is right. What is right and what is wrong can be defined totally different between one person and the next.
My choice , My decision is to do my best as a father who is working abroad to support his daughter and the sacrifice is hard as hell. Not to be with her to bring her up and teach her what’s right and wrong, good and bad is not acceptable but they need a roof and food over their head in order to survive.
What Would You Do ?
The only way i thought that would be a great way to connect would be like this. During my time at home we also would bond by making videos like we use to when Yazmin was only 2. Fun with Yaya was a great part of our life. Filming videos over 5 minutes long of Yazmin and us during our times out and about.
So many things we could of done but due to my profession as a Broadcast Manager working onboard Cruise Ships with film and camera skills behind me , i decided to use it. Our children are our future and our lives…Yazmin you are mine 🙂

Every year, no matter where in the world I am, I create a Christmas video for my daughter, Yazmin. It has become our tradition – a way for us to stay connected when we’re not physically together. Life sometimes takes us in different directions, but this video is my way of reminding her that she is never far from my heart. It is filled with memories, messages, and moments that celebrate her strength, laughter, and the incredible young woman she is becoming. Until the day we hug again, this is my gift to her: a little piece of home, a piece of her dad, and a reminder that love travels any distance.
